only valid points in there:
- focus on Glenn instead of Maggie after the sexual violation by Guv
- Rick telling only certain people (dudemen) about the Michonne deal
- "one black guy at a time" that everyone already knew

Carl's "toxic masculinity" :fp:

after seeing his daddy leave that one kid to die instead of taking him to the farm in the 2nd season, and then the dude they left on the road several episodes back to be mauled by zombies, is anyone really all that surprised how carl is turning out? he had to kill his mother. his dad is a fucking mess, and not making the best example of a rational choice making role model. kid is destined to be fucked.

Before Karl shot the kid I was thinking why did he even hesitate? the notion of taking another prisoner is laughable and fucking retarded. oh that boy was in a group that tried to fucking murder everyone i have left in this world? i'll take him prisoner! no. NO!

If the comic is being used to guide - I reckon
SPOILERSPOILER_SHOW
They're gonna draw out the govenor battle into the second series and now we have a whole bunch of cannon fodder women and children to massacre.

The Tyreece beheading will happen, the Michone torture will happen, Rick my well loose his hand yet as they've stretched out the Govenor character evolution to being all Psycho and brutal.

I would not be surprised to see the tank come back into it as the next time the govenor attacks the prison.

I would not even be surprised if they have the weazing asthma kid that Andrea didn't want to have trained to fight as being the kid who shoots him dead when they eventually do move off from the prison.

What I would like is to see them have a season on the road looking for anaother safehaven. The frozen housing estate part, the cannibals and meeting a couple of the mid series characters and encountering another big herd of dead would be cool as opposed to staying in a static location for the season.

From an empirical viewpoint, the problem with Free Will (and causality) is reconciling determinism and freedom to make sense of morality.

This looks great. If it's just the unseen Governor fucking with them and trying to get the prison overrun by walkers, I love that idea, but that seems too obvious. Either way, I'm excited. Are they doing the same 8 episodes, couple month break, another 8 episodes thing they did last season?
SPOILERSPOILER_SHOW
D'Angelo and Cutty meeting for the first time! (I'm sure they ran into each other in prison, since they all were at the same prison during D'Angelo's time there, but this was never shown since we never saw Cutty until Season 3.)
Stabbed in the eyes with a fucking caak...

Y'know, as predictable as it was...
SPOILERSPOILER_SHOW
I was on board with Rick's little Zombie Wife subplot right up until the point where we have to watch another fucking teary-eyed dialogue scene where the writers explain to us what it all meant. What is this, season one? I thought we were done with that shit.
Otherwise, good episode. Nothing spectacular, but appropriately despair-filled, and bonus points for Zombie Hanging from His Own Guts.

gimple episode + not a second of andrea or the governor = me happy

it might be a low bar, but knowing i'll never have to see andrea again has me looking forward to the rest of this season probably more than i should be

Raining zombie battle was absolute tits.

Milhouse, obvious target love interest and piglet death
SPOILERSPOILER_SHOW
Me thinks that the much hyped "new threat" will be the flu/disease that claimed porky and Milhouse
was very attractive.

High zombie body count was good.

Dynamic of carnage to the above mentioned explaining to zombie wife is a big improvement on past seasons - Rick used his acting in a "less is more" restrained way that didn't make it overly painful

I don't think the show is some great artistic achievement but it entertains me and there's at least one scene per ep that I like a lot. With that said, reading the tears of angry people around the internet is so satisfying. They hate it yet they still watch it? I somewhat did the same thing with Dexter but had the good sense to skip a few seasons.

I do hope they move from the prison because another whole season there is going to get boring.

Which one of the blacks is going down first?

Christ, 16.1 million people total watched the first episode. Guess that means it will only end when the ratings and quality dip.
