The good thing about this show is they aren't afraid to kill kids.
Ha, yeah, kids are almost as doomed as nBlacks. Speaking of which, my money's on Tyrese. I still don't read the comics, but based on the TV show, he's a complete non-entity, plus they've now given him a girlfriend who can scream and cry when he gets eated.

I'm not having a conversation that's going to lead to comics spoilers, but didn't Shane die much sooner in the comics? Even if Tyrese was around for a long time in the comics, they might just kill him off exactly because people don't expect it.
But if they're actually going to do something with him beyond token black guy, I'm all for that too.

they have d'angelo to kill off as a tokenblack sacrifice
first goes black lady, becase D needs time to demonstrate army medic value and develop connections with the group to make his death meaningful. then D gets eaten.
This first episode shows a pretty strong black cast. I highly doubt they're going to follow the typical "black people die, white folks live" trope. Breaking boundaries, son!
Should I feel bad for defending this show to my idiot friends who were turned off by season 1? Eh... they didn't like Breaking Bad either. But The Walking Dead has most definitely gotten worse since Darabont was booted.

Last season was awesome until about two thirds in. Then it just sort of fizzled out, and this current one pretty much continues like that. It's not completely terrible, but I'm just watching it out of habit, not because I care what happens anymore. Almost forgot to download last Sunday's episode.

i still dig it in a "well it's sunday night and i'm home so i might as well watch this" way, but marilyn manson's douchechill fest on talking dead was probably more noteworthy than the last episode
"Thinking about B-ramming your mom, i know she lives out here I'm gonna find her." - Double Anal
"What ever bro I own wine glasses and shit..." - Noah Thirteen
"I actually believe in God." - Lord Beguile
diggin this season so far. the whole flu thing gives me the creeps. fuck that shit. by the end of the episodes my brain worries that i'm coming down with something.
i thought the pig slaughter scene was really strong. it seems this show manages one or two really well rendered scenes every 3 episodes that keeps it going..
i'm so tried of white beard no-leg guys stupid predictable tone and point of view
