fucking good weekend for me with Dark Souls - cleared out the Painted World, got my hands on the Chaos Ember and Dark Ember, upgraded the Zweihander to Divine +5 and found out I love it. Trying to decide on a secondary weapon for when I want a faster attack. But the R2 attack on that thing is sweet as can be. And with 40 points in faith, I'm eating fuckers up.

Was invaded twice and managed to hammer both invaders like it was nothing. Blood shield RULES. Gotta wonder about that Xanthous set though. Fucking cotton tip head. Might be fun to wear for PvP.

+5 divine Zweihander is just wrecking motherfuckers, including invaders. two people invaded me and this other guy while we were clearing out the graveyard in painted world. one of them got nailed by a jumping R2 attack, the other backed up off the cliff cause he wasn't expecting that shit

can't wait to get it to +10

have a +5 lightning lucerne just for the fuck of it
+5 ghost blade because it's slick and I had the extra souls - didn't realize I couldn't buff it any further though

soul level 79 or so...

I'm doing all this to avoid the fucking Tomb of the Giants. I'm sure I could stroll through there, but I'm having way too much fun upgrading armor and weapons and co-oping with others.

knocked Tomb of the Giants out - Nito was much easier than I anticipated. Only had to try twice.
breezed through The Great Hollow and Ash Lake

totally forgot about the last two until pretty late, went to fight the Hydra and ended up killing him before all the heads were chopped off. guess that +10 Zweihander did too much damage.

ascend your pyromancy flame to max, attune great combustion and black flame and spam the fuck out of them against pvp spellscasters and cut them to pieces.

I'm going to start a new dex based character with pyromancy soon. seems like the best PvP fights I've been in have been with guys that can get inside and drain me of a bunch of endurance very quickly. they're hard to fight, but it seems fair and i like the strategy.

just fired this bitch up again. trying to get my souls legs back a little bit. it dawned on me again why i stopped. fucking was able to warp out of the archives (after losing to seath a couple times) through a bonfire but not able to warp back in?? whore souls / dark cunt

warp to wherever, do what you've got to do but don't rest at a bonfire, then use a homeward bone. it'll put you back in the archives (or wherever you last rested).

no that ship has sailed. i have to fight my way back through. i honestly never had much of a problem with blighttownn or sens fortress but the archives are my motherfucking nemesis. i have no patience with it for some raeson..
