Man's quest to get a haircut waxing philosophic along the way.
That mark seems a bit high. But looking back I can't say the movie was boring. Perhaps this was just an audition for Pattinson.

XXX 3/10 pretty outstanding example of the upper bounds of a movie being marketed to teenage boys - a few fun stunts and a shitload of groans. points for Rammstein live in the intro I guess?

Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon - 8/10
Dee is China's answer to Sherlock Holmes, I guess? Whatever, this is a fun film, loaded with wire (and CG) assisted martial arts battles - not all of them entirely convincing from a physics standpoint, but that goes with the territory. And the titular beastie is well done, CG or no. Speed reading is a plus here, for the subtitles come fast & furious at times.
