Yeah, really. Only option I see is a True Detective/American Horror story approach.elephants gerald wrote:good finale. is that it? hard to see this going anywhere

Re: fargo (series)
pretty sure no one watched it and its done. i dug it. i didnt even mind they didnt explain anything really. this episode could have been lester humping the end of his couch for an hour and a half then dying of a heart attack and i think it would still be worth watching the entire series

Re: fargo (series)
ending. Ending's never live up to your mind when a good show is on. There was no other way that this ending would have played out. Was a little telling in the beginning on how it would end, but was still awesome.
Billy Bob still scowling after he got shot and Lester puffing out his chest and slamming his front door like "This is MY house."

Rad ending.
So what were the 2 paths/decisions for the Morton's fork?
Also, almost positive that Tyrant is about the Syrian dictator...will watch.

Re: fargo (series)
I assumed it referred to Gus's decision in the first episode to let Malvo go after he was threatened versus the current reality that led to him killing Malvo anyway? I don't know, haven't put a lot of thought into it, but I liked that the show had a lot of subtext and room for interpretation regardless... the wolf and bear imagery was pretty cool too. anyone remember Malvo telling the story about the bear chewing its own foot off so it could die on its own terms? show's got LAYERS.Necrophilic Mallard wrote:Rad ending.

definitely one of the best seasons of TV I've seen, but I'd be okay with it being done just because I think it'd be tough to match this season. I can't get over how fucking good the cast was. and Odenkirk's character just got better and better until he eventually became one of my favorites.

I like how you tell him not to read the thread because of spoilers, then post a huge spoiler directly under that. Very Lorne Malvo of you.

Can't wait. I hope they don't screw up the second season like True Detective is screwing up their season. They're doing better so far by having Ted Danson and not having Vince Vaughn.
