I have not yet figured out why women who are utter doormats in relationships always post the passive-aggressive "strong woman" memes when they are the polar opposite of "strong women".

Is it reaction-formation?

Are they actively lying to themselves to feel better about behavior they feel is beyond their control?

Does that same sort of rationalization occur in the eat-beasts who tell themselves "it's genetic" and wallow in the self-induced powerlessness?
