Apple 2 software. These are mostly 'Disk Magazines' - early precursor to DOS shareware diskettes.
People would compile and distribute software through these collaboratively, like compilation albums.

I've never heard of Uptime Disk Monthly, but apparently John Romero of ID (Doom) released a bunch of his earliest software through these guys - eager to go through and see if any of his shit is on one of these.

I don't have access to an Apple II at the moment, so if I find anything here that hasn't been archived I'm going to mail it out to some neckbeard do-gooder and hope that the data is salvageable.
