I was 192 yesterday morning. I'm slowly getting there. I ran 3 miles yesterday, lifted today, plan on running 5 miles tomorrow. 10 11 days left in my competition. I'm at about 3.5% lost so far, and the leader is at 4.9%. If I can get down to 185, I'll be at 7.5% lost or thereabouts, so I'm hoping that can win the competition.

There's a smart and a stupid way to do it (well, a less stupid and a more stupid way, since it's a fucking crazy stupid thing to do to your body regardless); in a perfect weight cut you really shouldn't be putting your body through the shock of hard exercise with no caloric intake one or two days before a fight. You actually increase your water and salt intake for the four days leading up to it, triggering hormones thinking that it needs to expel more urine, then when you cut the water your body keeps trying to expel the same amount of liquid. Solid 5-10 pounds right there.
