he moved back to chicago so he's never on the main site's content (brad, jeff, vinny, drew, etc); all his stuff is solo or with alex navarro in NY. if you don't like klepek you basically have no reason to ever cross his path on GB

Kingdoms of Almalur was free on PS plus this week and I downloaded. Just spent a few hours on it. It's not a great game and yet... I got totally absorbed in it. The combat is ridiculously simple and button mash-y, the stories are pretty generic, but it's good at what it does. Anyone else play this?

I started it once, but it was directly after playing Skyrim, and the game felt completely retarded. I may revisit if I ever feel like playing a game like Fable (although I do own Fable 3, and I've never played that).

It IS funny that this is the world Curt Schilling was betting everything on. It's possibly the most generic fantasy world anyone could make.

I'd like to know what Fantasy worlds he's visited, be it game, novel, or film, that led him to create the Kingdoms of Almlur. I'm thinking he only watched the Lord of the Rings films.

i played it for a bit on ipad. it failed to hook me and i'm a super sucker for both puzzles and strategy. i couldn't tell you how many damn hours i spent on the puzzle quest games.
