I would be happy with a Wii U + PC combo. The Wii U would be perfect for my kid, and I reeeeeeeeeally want to play that Mario game and some other first party stuff like Smash Bros when it's released. Otherwise.... PC master race.

Yeah. I even enjoy his reviews when he's trashing a game I like. In fact, I think the first ZP I saw was him shitting all over Demon's Souls and whining about how hard it was. You'd think I would've hated him for that, but he made it worth listening to.

I'll buy a WiiU when Nintendo comes crawling out of the dark ages of digital and online gaming.

Yeah, that needs to come down a whole hell of a lot more. I certainly have the money, but after the Colonial Marines debacle I've become more economical out of the general principle of the whole thing. Also, the person that was going to get me a PS4 got lazy and just gave me the cash for it, so I'm back to my initial intent to wait a good while before I get that console as well.

I'm certainly hoping I can finally beat The Suffering this Friday. I will beat it, but enough is enough. That brings me to which game to play next. My mind flutters with images of Rapture. Yet, I really should get to getting on those older games already. I imagine I'll be a couple of glasses of wine in when I do beat The Suffering, so I'll need a game that's not too intense a creature to get into. Rules out Eternal Darkness, RE:DC, Call of Cthulu... I do have this BLOPS 2. MW3 was perfect for drunk gaming for gaming's sake, and I beat it fast enough. Hmm??

No, it's not a bad price, but I won't pay it. At least, not until that library of theirs expands a lot more. A lot more! I mean, as of now, the only games I'd get are:

New Super Mario U
Super Mario World 3D
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker

Um.. two Mario games I don't ever need to play and a game I already played. :?

played new super mario at best buy when i was trying out the PS4... the recent rayman games are so much better. sorry mario. i'm sure 3D world will be sweet though

any vita owners (just copstache??) getting tearaway? i was never a big LBP fan but this looks really cool. with my backlog of like 12 vita games from PS+ and remote play being a thing, i'm very close to picking one up. i dare say it's an inevitability now

yeah i definitely plan on getting tearaway. i've got entirely too much shit to play right now though so it's on backlist. as far as portable stuff goes, i'm getting zelda before that.

vita is awesome, i completely love mine. there may not be dozens of killer games but there are enough to last you for a really long time, especially if you're into ps1 classics too. i mean shit, final fantasy 7,8,9 and tactics? symphony of the night? metal gear solid? they play like a dream on vita.

I know. I'm going to act all I'm not buying a Bethesda game until they improve the animations and level scaling but the first trailer is going to melt my nerd heart I just know it.

I also hope it is a PS4 Xbone PC only title so the base game isn't technically nerfed but you know it will be on 360 and PS3.

so i have friends that work/worked at bethesda and they basically confirmed that despite them saying skyrim used a whole new engine, it was still just gamebryo but with some new shit glued onto it. i don't see them making a whole new engine anytime soon.

Zonks! Well, I guess that pretty much seals the deal that Id is no longer a studio that carries any weight by name alone with me:

I haven't loved any of their stuff since Quake 3, anyway, but this is a little sad for me. Eh, I guess I just hope ZeniMax gets hungry for corpse raping and we get some sort of awesome graphical remakes of Doom and Quake, because I have no faith in a DOOM 4 or Rage 2.

That was obvious from the first Skyrim video. Same old janky ice skating animations.

Oh god...
