It is closer to brick, but a conventional oven cannot reach the temperature that a traditional wood/coal fired oven can. That's where the stone runs into some problems compared to a baking steel which distributes and holds the heat more consistently.
I've used a cast iron pan before, and I don't get too much different results from a baking stone. I've been reading a lot about a 1/4" slab of baking steel, and it seems like it might get the job done a little better than stone or cast iron.

did a change up on my normal neapolitan pizza routine for a chicago classic.. Pequods, for a late night snack. It was most excellent.

just tried this place that advertised a large garlic sauce pizza with chicken and both red and green onions for 13 bones. got two XL peps and some cheese sticks too. 40 bucks. good price. fucking horrible pizza. shouldve seen that coming. in any case, i warn you all that pizza guys fucking sucks.
