Hub worlds but massive, massive hub worlds. Supposedly all of Origins and DAII can fit in this game with room to spare. It's huge.

So Inquisition looks amazing . The combat is the best it has been in DA games and I like the story setup a lot. Great voice acting, armor design, the crafting seems really deep and so much to do.

But! Bioware are such idiots. No auto attack in real time and only in tactical mode? What the hell. They got blasted for not including this in DA2 and patched it in later. Speaking of tactical mode.......that thing fucking sucks with kb/m. In fact, controlling the game itself sucks with kb/m. They even limit your hotbar to the console limits. Wtf? I wouldn't care too much but switching between kb and the gamepad isn't seamless at all. You have to go into the menu to swit h and when I went from kb to pad, I had to restart the game. That's something indie devs can do but Bioware can't. And you can't click on distant loot making your character autorun and pick it up. You have to be right next to the loot.

Despite my bitching, I briefly thought about calling in sick today. I will definitely make a new character when I get home and progress the game only when satisfied.

Seriously. Bioware finally figures out controller support after nearly a decade and they still fuck it up. Two steps foward, one step back.

And cutscenes are locked to 30fps which is jarring to say the least.

PC yes. Consoles are 30 fps with PS4 1080p, Xbone 900p. Sounds like the framerate is pretty steady on consoles.

using trade-in credit to get Far Cry 4 tomorrow also because why the fuck not? really curious about this supposedly crazy easter egg that lets you beat the game in 30 minutes with an alternate ending. anyone else getting it for PS4? I'm not sure how coop works in these games but supposedly it's a big deal and I'd be up for trying some once I get used to the game.

One last bitch about DA:I's pc gamepad controls. You can't use the dpad to scroll through menus. Just the analog stick. Sometimes I think devs don't actually play games.

Just picked up Dragon Age, Far Cry, GTA V, and Little Big World for PS 4 at the Best Buy Midnight launch. Was hoping to get some GTA time in before bed, but this install is taking forever. At least 30 minutes.

This looks fucking awesome. It's almost like a new game when playing in FP mode. I think this might be the first game I buy twice at full price, although it will most likely be $50 on PC.

The 30fps limitation is pretty jarring in places
