Re: Auguries Forecasting an Inexorable Decrepitude
I haven't slept past 6 AM in years and it's really terrible if you want to stay up late. I stand nearly my entire work day and a nap is an absolute must three days a week. The other two days I workout during my lunch. Knees are starting to feel like shit from my night time doggy walks. He may have to learn how to use the treadmill.

Re: Auguries Forecasting an Inexorable Decrepitude
Everything just takes 100 years to heal now.
Most recent thing was body-surfing forehead first into the sand; My body I guess isn't completely senile and had the sense to somehow let my mid-back absorb most of thee impact instead of letting my head break off at the shoulders. It knocked the wind out of me. I managed to walk backwards ten feet up the shore and laid down on my back and stared at the clouds while gasping for air and wondering if I was gonna be paralyzed or not.
I was going to complain here about how long it's taking to get back to 100%, but typing that out I guess it's not so bad that's it's been three weeks or four and I'm for the most part able to fake that I'm not injured.

Re: Auguries Forecasting an Inexorable Decrepitude
the joint on my knees are getting worse.
Back in late July and the whole of August, the pain switched back and forth from my left to my right knees.
two weeks ago, i had a tennis elbow on my left side then a few days later my right elbow and right knee got swollen and i could barely move them.
today my right knee is acting up.

paulo: just terrible to hear it
this reminds me of one of the only times I can remember putting umesh into an apparent blind rage - the drummer from Decapitated had just died, and I said some cheeky thing along the lines of "well, that's one less two-footed blaster" and umesh went off on me
I don't see how you're going to get all soft over a drummer from a band that had like one good song...
edit: thread from 2007 lives on; bored has been baleted though:

I am actually doing really well lately, corporeally
everyone on earth should take 1 yoga class and then make up their own stretching routine
I have invented lots of rad custom stretches that prevent injury - PM me for details

Spring break has started at my school. I celebrated yesterday by coming home and taking a nap.

Man, whenever school holidays start, the wife, who's also a teacher, and I sleep at least 12 hours a night for the first three or four days.

Re: Auguries Forecasting an Inexorable Decrepitude
Spring break is the worst for me - March is by far the busiest month of the entire school year, so I typically don't even remember the first two weeks of spring break because all I do is sleep.
And of course I had to help a buddy move today. Just so I wouldn't get to sleep in because god hates me.

haha shit, I know how you're feeling
do you have any tests to correct? I still have two and a half of those fuckers lying around. twelfth grade, philosophy and politics. you wouldn't believe the shit the average eighteen year old comes up with instead of just admitting they preferred partying to learning...

Yeah, a whole bunch of essays. But I'm taking at least the first week off completely. Slept 14 hours tonight

You're married to a woman? Why were you posting about cruising for gay sex not very long ago? Does your wife know?

Women rarely fuck you because even if you were physically appealing (you are not) you have such a bland, awful personality that people do not like to be around you.MeatGrease wrote: ↑Sat Mar 31, 2018 7:11 pmYou're married to a woman? You're the type of person who is rarely joyful for reasons that are not malignant and people hate that.

I can trace my ancestry all the way back to historic germanic tribal chieftains in fact.
