That band played every show I went to at the local all ages club. The shows were really fun. I don't think I ever listened to them again after turning 21. Anyways thought I was gonna be bummed if that was like a earnestly patriotic song (because I would have been moshing to it at some point). It's not, so that's cool. But then I noticed they're bros with the voodoo glow skulls, so fuck them. It's been quite a roller coaster.

i finally fainally FANALLY bought a cheap ass drum set off of craigslist, and it's a dumb piece of shit but it gets me like 42% of the way back to annoying the shit out of my wife as i practice inverted paradiddles for a month straight

i'll be doing suspended baffles since i'm set up in the unfinished part of our basement. i'm hemming and hawing over how, or if, i'd similarly try to suspend a ceiling baffle to minimize bleed into the living room. my method is total scumfuck diy: moving blanket, foam mattress topper, moving blanket, all grommeted/tapped into a 2x6 that i then hang from the floor joists and weigh down with another 2x6. the transfer of energy from blanket to air to foam to air to blanket is pretty cost-effective
