Have fun playing no games. :(

I really, really like the PS4 - it's a very nice piece of hardware, the controller is excellent (and I would have never suffered a fool to question the superiority of the original Dualshock design in the past) and the interface is so much better than the PS3's that it's not even funny. But there just aren't any fucking games for the thing. I can't wait for Bloodborne.
this is the most tired bullshit argument ever. yeah, the PS4s exclusive library is still a bit lacking, but theres so much shit to play on it right now.

Schwaiger seems to be forgetting that if anything I'm a Playstation fanboy, and even after I bought a 360, I still constantly poo-pooed its controller and its excessively loud disc drive. I'm also not sure what part of "I really like the PS4" wasn't clear.

Anyway, the bottom line is, if I can get a game on Steam, I'll get it on Steam. Aside from the fact that it's usually the best-looking version, it's also cheaper and more convenient. And Geoff also has Steam and uses it a lot, so I'm guessing he'll be in the same boat. It's just a fact. Unless the vastly superior controller of the PS4 cancels out everything else for you, in which case, honestly, I'm happy for you. I can't justify it. I'd like to use the thing more, but there just isn't much of a reason.

"Have fun playing no games" is a retarded comment. There's a ton of stuff to play. And soon is MGS5, Bloodborne, The Order (if its good) and a ton of cool indies. all i'm saying

Bloodborne alone will make the PS4 worth it, no doubt. There's no way around that game. I'll give Second Son another shot next month because it's an Infamous game, but I have to say I was... profoundly unimpressed. And I actually liked First Light. The new Killzone game, sadly, is kind of a stinker. I'm not ridiculing your purchase, I'm just saying I'm a bit miffed about how slow it's been because I like the damn thing. That Batman game's coming out on PC as well, so eh.

Incidentally, though, depending on your rig, you might be better off getting The Witcher 3 on PS4. I'm still holding out hope that my GTX 970 will run it better than the PS4 will, but from the specs they've published, I'm not so sure.

I am steering clear of that IGN video. I want to go in fresh as opposed to gorging myself on pre-release vids like I did with Dark Souls II.

Anyway, as far away as Bloodborne still is, the release date is damn near perfect for me. I have three-week vacation with absolutely no obligations almost immediately after that, so it's just going to be no pants, beer and killing Lovecraftian horrors for me.

Mordor starts out very tough. Prepare to run away a lot for awhile. I promise that as you go on your dude will be able to kick ass for the lord.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you just get Mordor on Steam? I remember you ranting and raving about how much you loved Steam all the time. Did your rig crap out or is it just too old for newer games?

See, that makes perfect sense. And we only had to shout through Schwaiger's temper tantrum for two days to arrive at a sensible answer why you'd want a PS4 at this point in time if you have a PC.

I'm not even going to talk about the shit I've bought over the last six months because I basically couldn't leave the house. It's embarrassing.

I got infamous second son, will get mordor within the next week. The machine also came free with Last of Us.

I wonder what is on ps plus this month for ps4.
I hope you've been adding the Free PS4 PSN titles to your cart this whole time 0_0

This month is transistor, and rogue legacy I believe.

Rogue Legacy is so damn good.

I'll probably get the Steam version of Mordor & Wolfenstein as I'm sure my PC will run those better than the PS4.

I've been distracting myself with Far Cry 4.

One shot a man with an arrow no problems, Honey Badgers take three clips of AK rounds point blank and still keep clicking...but it's far cry.

The dog helped me with Manus a lot. It was Alstaire who ended up being the toughest of all the bosses for me. He wasn't as nerve racking as O&S, but he took a lot more tries to down.

Haha . Spacehamster chose the wrong month to say that. PSPlus game selection is pretty great.

The Order is looking kind of tempting...but in a year it'll be a PSPlus game.

That's what I'm thinking. If I did get it, it would probably sit on the shelf for a long time as I slowly go through the PC games and GTA V/ Dragons Age. As of now, it seems like a super polished Gears of War, so no hurry.

How did you do that? I tried summoning him a couple times and always found him completely useless. What works best for me with Manus is just tankin' it, really.
