A few nights ago the old lady and I were both tired and hungry and didn't feel like cooking. We looked at the different pizza options and for some ungodly reason went with Pizza Hut since they have the 'Any pizza, any toppings, $10' deal right now. After my first bit I wanted to kick myself in the nuts so bad. I plan to visit the local place down the street and beg on my knees for forgiveness.

dude i'm telling you i boycotted west coast pizza altogether while i was out there!

actually that's not true, my drummer worked at this really swank italian place on killingsworth and greeley that made really good personal pizzas. yeah free.

silly friggin john, you never tried Eddie's Flat Iron when you were here. I pretty much don't work there anymore, so I don't mind mentioning the name here now...seriously, best pizza in Portland...made by a dude from Michigan/Chicago. Ha. Then again, I'm kind of partial to the chicago style thin crust, cut into squares shit...

As far as I've been able to tell...people in NC don't make good pizza. Don't get me started on the BBQ.

I think Domino's added crack/cocaine as a secret ingredient for their new recipe. I can't stand their pizza but I had one last night and could not stop myself from consuming an entire pie in one sitting.

I'm on pizza 10 in the last three days or so from scratch. Dough is the hard part, but man - shallots. Gonna borrow me some ideas here.

I'm probably going to make some homemade pizza tonight. I found a better recipe than the old one I was using...this one calls for adding basil and garlic into the dough before kneading it, I thought it turned out a lot better.
