Fats yield more candles. It just makes sense in this economy to make candles from our fats so we can save electricity and also reduce our dinner budgets.

They have to take extra precautions when they cremate obese people because the fat burns hotter than normal.

the fucking pop-tart ice cream sandwich!!!
holy shit I read most of that article and only now realized anything said "fatshion" :x biggest humble-brag in the world, isn't it? I can't be attractive because then people are too attracted to me shut the fuck up

sort of inspired by the Idget/Crypto exchange: I think there are a decent number of post-fats in this thread. I was pretty chubby when I was 12 and it sucked, almost entirely for the social shame. I never had to work to get into shape (viva growth spurt) but I certainly worked to stay in shape subsequently. I believe that fitness is an important personal responsibility and I think the obesity epidemic is one of many symptoms of a shitty, short-sighted society that has been programmed to look for cures instead of means of prevention because the former are that much more profitable. there are many industries working to keep people out of shape while keeping them dissatisfied with that state of life. I am sympathetic for the fats since the impossible body image propaganda is certainly damaging, but ultimately it's not as damaging as this "fuck everything and eat 'til you die" backlash. let's remember that doctors have no power to get these people to own what they are doing to their bodies. maybe the big-scale social shaming is evil, and the smaller-scale shaming (is there a more positive way to phrase this?) could be beneficial? just rambling now; I'll shut up.

It's not uncommon for fats to congregate around sources of more fat.

My favorite is the "because my kids might turn out to be fat" one. Confiscate her ovaries, NOW.

They are just like meth heads. Horribly misshapen bodies due to addiction. They should have a meth mouth acceptance page too.

"I need meth mouth acceptance because teeth that look like an unkempt 18th century graveyard are beautiful too!"

"I need meth mouth acceptance because until Hollywood features more people who have ground their teeth into tiles I will never feel like my smile is as beautiful as it really is!"

What the fuck is this supposed to mean? Some of these people really think they're engaging in a civil rights struggle here. It's amazing.
"I'm sorry, ma'am, you have to pay for two seats" is the new "back of the bus, black person!"

because we've allowed this to happen.

I love how 75% of them have the same style of clothes, glasses, tattoos. Social justice warrior fats subculture.
