Literally burns the calories
Move along Paulo's boss. Nothing to see here.

OK, but you said exercise is not linked to weight loss.canon.docre wrote:no one is saying don't exercise. The fact that it literally burns calories is pretty much secondary to every other benefit it provides in my opinion.

This is well said. I will never understand what people get out of calorie counting. It has to do more harm than good.Necrometer wrote:My key beef with CI/CO is that you cannot guess with any precision how much energy is used during exercise, or how much energy is actually harvested from a given meal, without being hooked up to a fuckload of science gear. You just might have to annihilate the test subject in a bomb calorimeter to get to the truth. Also, CI/CO is interpreted by lazy people as "eat fewer calories" and then they fail because hunger feels terrible and then they blame science.
which leads to weight loss.canon.docre wrote:Raw Ting wrote:Literally burns the calories

No one here is saying don't exercise. If I want to direct what I am saying to you, then I would go ahead and say that even a "secondary" benefit such as calorie burning is still a needed benefit in a lot of these cases, not to mention some of those considerably primary benefits like muscle development or improved metabolism that could very well help the whole issue in the first place.canon.docre wrote:no one is saying don't exercise. It's not like obese people are hopelessly shackled by lard.
You fucking Canadians are such pussies. You can thank your health care for making you guys so needy.riley-o wrote:FUCKIdget Child wrote:Nothing wrong with rats, Riley.

You probably wouldn't even let me smoke around the kids you are no doubt considering having after reading that fucking shit bill waterson comic.riley-o wrote:Anyone who keeps rats should be stomped into a pit of hungry ones, and then the pit filled with napalm from the barrel of a specialized Prius.

Dude... there are domestic rats that people have been breeding as pets for the longest time, these aren't sewer rats with a zillion diseases and maggots living behind their eyeballs we're talking about here.riley-o wrote:FUCKIdget Child wrote:Nothing wrong with rats, Riley.

I really hope this is an elaborate practical joke on people who buy into bogus science. "I'm on that diet where all I eat is the shit of thin people. I'm not gonna be fat much longer."āIām very excited about this,ā he added, saying the next step will be to try using gut bacteria to treat obesity by transplanting feces from thin people.
