Just finished up maxing out the main three paradigms for each character. Now to get my dudes to a high enough level to even have a remote chance at getting the CP Boost item...

Fuck, this is going to take a while...

When during the gameline are you doing this?

You can't do it unless you've finished the main story.

I've also finally been able to defeat my first Adamantortoise (the gigantic turtle with the tusks) which gives you 40,000 cp per kill, a platinum ingot as a common drop, and a trapezohedron as a rare drop. It's KEY to be able to kill these things if you want to do everything there is to do in the game.

Ahh.

Currently running around in Chapter eleven. Behemoth King for the second hunt can wipe out my party in one blow once he stands up. Wicked.

If you're looking for a good leveling spot, you should check out a place called The Maw of they Abyss. You have to go there as part of the story, so it shouldn't be hard to find. It's the first place you have to go after you wander through that giant plains area. You'll know you're close to the entrance when you see a Behemoth King and a giant wolf-thing fighting each other. At the moment, I would advise against fighting those two. Instead, go past them into the cave, which is called The Maw of the Abyss.

This is where you basically want to just run back and forth battling the robots and bombs that keep respawning. You'll start at the save point and head down the path. There will be a split in the path eventually, so when you get there, go to the left. You'll know you're at the end of the leveling run when you fight 5 robots at once. Once you hit that point, simply turn around and head back to the save point. You don't want to go any further into the large rectangular room since there is a rather hard battle that you'll only probably win after you finish the main story.

The best part about this spot is that you can get about 20,000 CP in (at your stage of the game) about 5 minutes. The added benefit of running around here is that the enemies here drop rather good upgrade materials, so this is even a good spot to start leveling up your weapons as well.

Haven't upgraded or spent any gil yet. Worred I'll start upgrading the wrong weapon, plus I haven't encounted anything yet that my gear couldn't handle, more or less. Finished the first tier of side quests, going to check out that robot cave now, the amount of CP needed is getting heavy.

Actually was able to take this guy out, didn't get a rating for it but can come back for that later if need be I guess.

Going to start upgrading, this chart seems as good a guide as any? http://guides.ign.com/guides/826843/page_2.html

That seems like a good guide. For exact EXP figures, check out section 4 of this guide:

You see, with necrometer you have to make up your mind about whether you like a game or not before you play it, like he did. It's just how he works.
