Goddamn Joffrey. You KNOW he's going to get his just deserts. I'll be crushed if he doesn't.

Robb Stark is the man and so is Jon Snow. Kind of bummed there's only one more episode left but I'm stoked to start reading the books finally.

Those who've read the books, please tell me that Arya rams Needle up Joffrey's anus.

I'm watching the whole season again. It's fucking amazing how many little details there were early on that you miss if you don't know where it's all going because the show doesn't hold your hand through anything. I'm two episodes in so far, and they're way better the second time around.

 It's kind of comforting to know that since this is based on a series of novels, they're not just making it up as they go like most other TV shows. I can't friggin' wait for the second season. I think I watched the entire first one in like four days.

For TV grade CGI, that was pretty good.

Kinda strange to think it will be a whole year before the show comes back, but hay, new book next month. Thing is, you can't get a "between episodes" timeline continuity to work in a TV show the same way it works in books. That will make for some interesting problems.

Like, by the time the "Feast for Crows" season comes out, won't the kid actors be sort of... not kids anymore? Will the producers pump them full of illicit anti-puberty drugs like a Russian gymnastics team?

These are the things I think about.

Didn't Dany's hair get burned off in the book? Ruined the whole show for me.

What a finish. My dad is officially a sadsack as he doesn't like the show. My mom loves it. Can't wait to start the books and for next season.

Yeah, but the Harry Potter characters age in the movies at the same rate as the actors. Each movie = one year later than the previous, which is how they filmed them.

Whereas Arya, for example, only ages few years in the course of the first four books. Assuming the character ages at the same rate through the rest of the books, by the time the final season of the show rolls around, you've got some 21 year-old playing someone whose supposed to be like, twelve.

THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT, PEOPLE

Are the characters from the north described as having northern accents in the books? At least to my ears, it's pretty distinct in the TV show, but I can't imagine how you could describe that in writing without making real world references.

Finally got around to watching the final episode. Fuck, this is better than the first two seasons of House. If they keep this up, it'll top the Lord of the Rings films.

Does anybody know when the second season starts airing?

+ 1 again and seeing the preview on the UFC the other day, he actually looked a lot like the Comic book version of the younger Conan.

Of course if you guys aren't MMA fans - you should try get a hold of the UFC interview with Goldberg and see him reinvent the language of cocaine addled hilarious.

Tyrion is my favourite character and Trygarean chick reminds me of a white blonde version of porn star Gauge.
