it kind of ruins the tone of the hi hat when you do that though... im going to stop doing it soon when i set up my rack again and go double kick drums again.... this was my "jazzy" set up (i totally copied bill bruford on that one) but now that im playing brutal metal again i need to bring back all my other goodies. by the way , thanks!
