The Leftovers season 1 - 8/10 - dynamic and grim, exceptionally brutal in parts, some characters a chore but overall a great ensemble piece with a killer vibe.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 (2017) - Only saw one and a half episodes thus far. Not going to lie. I'm a huge fan of the original and the changes can be off putting. Changes in the voices you hear is one thing, but the speed and regularity of the jokes have been pumped up, causing a jarring shift in the tempo of the show that I'm not used to. They also experiment with more visual gags via the silhouettes. Bad guys are too happy & hip to be this shows bad guys, and the new guy is generic thus far. All that said, the first movie was fine. They improved as it went on. Second movie has been really damn good, though. I think a combination of me getting used to it mixed with just a tremendously awful film help.

Iron Fist - 4/10

Stuff happens. People do things.

Yeah, this one pretty much stinks. I think I get what they were going for, and it's kind of admirable, but there's a difference between characters with complicated motivations and ones that just seem to have multiple personality disorder. And the story is so plodding and uninteresting that looking back now, I couldn't even say what it was about or what the point was. And while the fight choreography being unrealistic doesn't piss me off like it does Riley (I guess it's kind of the same thing as how doctors can't watch hospital TV shows - I'm the same way with TV teachers and classrooms), but the fights always seemed boring and I kind of just wanted them to be over. It's a Kung Fu show, so honestly, I would've been fine with them trying to channel some cheesy oldschool movie shit, but not like this.

I mean, I guess at least they had the common decency to make the Asian chick wear tight tops all the time?

The Mick - 7.5 / 10 Benito makes the show.

Thanksgiving episode of Master of None gave me some feelings.

Master of None is lame and for women but I really like it. Like a less weird and less funny Atlanta but with more romance and drama.

Season 2 spoilers.
SPOILERSPOILER_SHOW
Dev is a total dick for making moves on an engaged woman and then blaming his selfish feelings on her. She's a goddamn sucker if she did stay with him. Screw both of them. Not a fan of introducing a hot black British chick then ditching her. Francesca has kid already doesn't she? The fat little kid in the pasta shop.

Oh no! That woman from Walking Dead is starring in it. What an uncharismatic bore she was.

This show might as well officially be an Always Sunny in Philadelphia spin-off. Mick is just a slightly more well adjusted Sweet Dee. The boy-friend and the littlest kid rule. It's probably the best major network sitcom since Seinfeld, though.

House of Cards S1 -- 7
House of Cards S2 -- 7
House of Cards S3 -- 6
House of Cards S4 -- 5

This show started out brilliant, but as they began to explore strange little side stories and weird political quirks it became clear that they were just trying to shock for shock's sake. I think they got a little too comfortable in their "unattached" Netflix superiority that they just started saying, "fuck it. We can get away with anything." That said, I am looking forward to the next season. Robin Wright is fucking ridiculously hot.
