Has there every been a "super group" that wasn't total shit?

This isn't embarrassingly bad or anything but I wouldn't give it a second glance either. Are they calling themselves a super group? with the exception of Rex Brown and maybe Scott Travis they're all a bunch of scabs that joined big bands well after their prime. Their press release probably sounds cool though "featuring members of Rainbow, Uriah Heep, Judas Priest, Pantera and Accept". Most of those dudes weren't even alive when Rainbow and Uriah Heep first existed. I had to look up all of these dudes, except Rex Brown.

SIX FEET UNDER recording begins at Clear Track Studios in Tampa next week to begin recording Graveyard Classics IX. Album will be and entire cover of AC/DC's Blow Up Your Video album, with two Japanese bonus tracks, Fly on the Wall and Sink the Pink. Special guest vocalist Tarja Turunen will suprise with guest vocals on as of yet undetermined tracks. Tentative release date 2024.
