The Artist 7/10 Great at what it was, just not my thing. Tracking as 9+ in the first half, sorta dragged a bit and lost me as it went on.

Batman Begins 8.5/10 For all its problems, it's still one of the classier & least embarrassing action movies of the last decade. Wondered for the first time: why doesn't that water vaporizing machine vaporize the water in humans? Science spoils yet more fun...

9 to 5 Days in Porn - 8/10 - Pretty good doco. Stayed pretty much in the middle and let the subjects lead the way.

La Piel que habito (The Skin I Live In): 9/10. Solid Almodovar's movie. And pretty fucked up.

Im glad you are still on board with that one as Ive seen a lot of post DKR backlash on BB. It still fucking rules. Really hard.
 Even if the fight scenes aren't up to snuff...

Hesher - 4/10

I think this was supposed to be a comedy, but it was just depressing. Hard to frump Natalie Portman, she's always hot.

Levitt reminded me of Tim Yeung the whole time.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - 7/10
I never felt immersed in it, I was always confused and doubting myself, thinking I had accidentally walked into the wrong theater and this showing time had been playing for an hour already because I didn't get a damn thing. Then I watched the Alec Guinness 7-part version from the '70s over the weekend and understood the plot. I guess in that way I rate the new one an 8, but that's not really fair, since I needed another movie and wikipedia to understand everything that happened. I mean, I got the gist of it, but compressing everything sevenfold made it hard. I know I'm not a total retard. Reviewers have been complaining about it. Gary Oldman's face, however, is fucking awesome.

It made me want to read the novel. Or maybe I should start with the one right after TTSS.

:rhug: do you feel like you missed some dialogue? I blamed that aspect for my partial confusion, but maybe that wasn't it at all...

Lemmy 6.66/10 Not as overflowing with "famous" douches as advertised. I loved his apartment. Infinite adolescence...

Entertaining, but pretty weak like most of Bruce Hangface's latest flicks.

Steele Justice 3/10
I love how CobraKai instructor looks into the camera every 5 minutes and gives us that smirk that makes me wish Rambo was there to sort this hack out.
