Yes. I'm hoping the story is at least passable and they play up some Infernal Affairs styled, deep undercover twists.

http://www.theverge.com/gaming/2012/5/2 ... -employees
Some of the hundreds of 38 Studios employees laid off yesterday were hit with a second round of bad news this week when they were told by banks that homes they thought the company had sold for them hadn't been and that they may be stuck with a second mortgage, Polygon has learned.

Several sources directly impacted by the mortgage issue confirmed the news today and a 38 Studios official, who asked to not be named, said the company is working to try and get to the bottom of the notifications and find a resolution.

One former employee said they discovered this week that their Massachusetts home, which they had been told was sold last year, actually hadn't been. The bank contacted them this week to ask why they mortgage wasn't being paid.

Revenge of Shinobi is on the PSN, and it has trial modes with leaderboards.

This is what's best in life.

So, I played a bit of Schilling's grandiose saga. Combat is nice and streamlined. Graphics are colorful, but don't impress. Story is generic as they come, and the dialogue... the dialogue, dry white toast. Whenever I started getting into it, I would have to talk to some one and it killed me a little inside each time. I'd say the game is more like Fable than anything else. Not sure I want to continue this adventure at the present time. In fact, I'm damn sure I don't. I'm not saying it's bad by any means, but I am not in the mood, no sir.

I only played the demo. I thought the combat was really good-- a lot of fun. But... yeah. Overall.... generic. It's disappointing cause I think someone else could have done something awesome with it.
I was mostly in an underground city complex, but the second I escaped into the open world I sensed trouble. Dopey stuff like evil wolves and a crazy bear just sort of hanging out mere feet away from the npc "good guys" but neither is bothered by the other, except the one guy that wanted to make it a quest to stop the bear from eating his berries. I don't know, Skyrim... Batman: AC, shit would have gone down, and not require me to walk into the middle of the damn animals before some one noticed something. It's very Fable.

Gonna give Persona 4 a shot. I know very very little about the SMT series. Expecting good things.

:wank: :wank: i had no idea about schilling's politics before all of this but goddamn he seems like a slimy dickhead.

"I've never taken a penny and I've done nothing but create jobs and create economy."

uh... you took a LOT of pennies and you just had to fire your whole staff because your shitty game didn't sell enough to "create economy."

does he have financial advisement from anyone or is it just him thinking he knows how to do absolutely everything because he pitched with blood on his sock one time?

Pisscubes wrote:No shit? I actually really liked three-- more than I thought I would. I'm excited to play these. Do you have the collection? How does it stand up in HD?
I had the collection and they look and played great. It's probably the only truly well made must have HD collection out there...especially after how shitty the hd versions of Shadow of the Colossus and Resident Evil 4 turned out :ax: . The GoW games were already the best looking PS2 games.

Besides the graphics, which do rule, three is by far the weakest one for me. A whole lot of been there, done that and the last 1/3 of the game was a chore. I am 100% unexcited for that upcoming God of War game.
