It's probably a bunch of birdspeak, but I like that MIT posted this course up:
I'll post non-Rossness-imprisoning-me ones later.

i've been only sort of aware of what he was talking about but i had no idea about all the findings he's written about and so the interview was pretty shattering for me actually. i bought the book like 20-30 minutes into the conversation on amazon.

And don't tell me that this is too short, it must have felt like an eternity to be at the receiving end of that lecture.
And if you're a dirty commie, look up David Harvey

I'm looking on youtube for my favorite writers who might also appeal to the board and everything is either an uber dry interview or a poorly recorded lecture on some esoteric topic. Man, academics are really bad at making their arguments publicly. It's pretty sad.

I really enjoyed the hell out of this...got lost on occasion, had to rewatch certain parts, but very rewarding overall (also very long)
the fact that this and many other lengthy lectures in the same series are offered is a credit to the internet and what it can be. well worth watching. there would be fucking no chance to see this outside of paying tuition even 15 years ago

that's exactly the spirit of the thread; sure the internet for most of the time is to call each other kikes and to do research on how to best embarrass people, the fact that there's an absolute embarrassment of informational riches here too is just staggering
