Aaaaaand as I was reading this thread I got a text from a promoter who wants me to DJ this big festival in St Pete on the same day. Maybe I'll work a deal where I can DJ during the day and then just get free tickets to the Scion thing after I'm done. Or I'll just skip it and go to the Rock Fest all day. You know what would make my decision easier? IF THEY MENTIONED BANDS THAT WOULD BE PLAYING.

OK, that works. Looks like I'm DJing this festival thing anyway, but I requested an early set (4pm or 5pm-ish) so I can spend some time before and after Scion-ing.

The last time I was in Tampa was in 2004, for that FL deathfeast.

It was terrible.

Old people, and gulf coast stench w/Jack K running the show = Fail.
