I was lying out in the sun saturday and saw a house-sized cloud expand and dissolve into nothing over the course of a few seconds. then I wondered if I was likely see the reverse process - a cloud being formed from a totally clear sky - and it happened just a few minutes later. not much impresses me, but this was pretty awesome to see...

I'm on holiday in Japan. After watching a dance performance in Takachiho I went into a little bar and ordered curry. Made friends with four old Japanese dudes who bought me rounds after rounds of shochu and wouldn't even let me pay for my curry. Most young Japanese people can fuck off IMHO, most often they're too afraid to talk to gaijin. Old Japanese people however usually don't give a fuck, they scream around all the time, are incredibly nosy and get shitfaced every chance they get.
