I only got to watch about 10 minutes of that game, but every time I did something great happened. Shit series, great result.

That's true. I happened to see the sequence that started with Splitter's rejection of Wade and ended with three straight 3-pointers by the Spurs. It put a huge smile on my face. I don't think I've been that happy watching basketball since I was in high school and rooting for the Suns when they had Barkley.

Leflop and D bag screwed themselves in game 2 with their flopping bullshit. The refs watched the tapes and said "fuck these cocksuckers. They're making a joke of us on tv". Never got those close calls again. That was the difference those 20 free throws a game they were getting for the past four years.

I remember barking louder each time they made all those 3's... it was raining. Great quarter.

When I was 7 or 8 years old I watched almost all of the Suns vs. Bulls Finals. I wanted the Suns to win because I already knew Jordan was the best and I wanted the underdog to prevail. Have kept the same attitude towards all sports since.

really, anybody that doesn't like underdogs is underdogshit, so yeah, i'm with you on that

spurs, so long as they're constructed this way, will remain methodological underdogs, regardless of their successes: not just throwing money at free agent acquisitions, but constantly shifting to maximize value at every roster spot
