I couldn't get past the fart and tits jokes of the trailers. I felt so fucking dumb just watching it.
I mean that's who Deadpool is, and that's why I hate that character.

The game play in that game looks pretty good so far. I'm not going it buy it for the reasons you said, but a lot of people love him.

No, I totally understand-- it could be an awesome game. Maybe it was just watching Deadpool in motion and with Nolan North as the voice doing his usual shtick that just sent it into sharp relief.
Deadpool is like Nathan Drake on coke & Coke who hasn't slept in a month and deep down wants to be "witty" like Spider-Man. Nolan North is the perfect choice. Also, North has voiced Deadpool in the past.

I try to tell myself I'm above raunchy childish media entertainment now (I'm never going to watch Ted) but I'm also the one who found Saints Row 3 funny, and spent five minutes playing with poo in Duke Nukem Forever.

has anybody been following this? microsoft's creative director went rogue on twitter bashing people that were complaining about the new xbox's "always online" rumors.

Haha, yes. What a douche. "People should just get the internet. It's awesome." Rumors are if your connection times out for as little as 3 minutes, you'll get booted out of the game. LOL

Well, I hope it's true. Between this and the fact that the PS4's quasi-PC architecture means it's going to be a hell of a lot easier to develop on than the PS3 compared to the 360, maybe I'll only have to buy one console next generation.

I'd be pretty surprised if it really ends up being true, though.

What an arrogant prick. I live in New York, and even my internet will go out for over a day once or twice a year. Plus, sometimes, for whatever reason (my wife buffering 5 TV shows/movies at once) the internet connection can get wonky where my 360 is located. It's a hair away from being a deal breaker. Regardless, I'm probably not getting two consoles this time around, and do I like Halo better than Sony's exclusives? Certainly not better than Uncharted 2. If the 360 is a less powerful machine than the PS4 than the decision has been made.

I live in a rural town, and my internet is fucking awesome. The last time I remember an extended outage is when a tornado touched down about 2 blocks from my place and fucked some shit up.

ALWAYS ON

But seriously, when I travel or whatever and bring my console you can't hook up to decent internet in a hotel to play a game online mostly. What about people with data limitations on their internet service?

Maybe they'll rethink this a bit.

Last time my Internet went out was a week after Hurricane Sandy. My internet was perfectly fine during and after the storm, but fuckfaces trying to fix a problem else where blew the whole grid. Roadrunner? More like Daffy Duck.

The only way I can see always online working is if the actual console is dirt cheap. Like $150 or less but then you'll be spending money left and right on Live services. I hope MS has the balls to go through with it, will be interesting to see it all play out.

if this turns out to be true, along with the rumor of kinect being required (even worse) and used games being blocked (EVEN WORSE), i don't care how cheap the next xbox is, i won't get one. PS4 is my first choice anyway since i'm sure its dominance of exclusive games will continue, what with all these indie developers are coming out and saying sony is much more indie-friendly than MS

i'd like to think MS isn't dumb enough to do any of those things though.

i'm leaning towards the PS4 anyways this time, because my tastes nowadays are leaning more towards stuff like Ni No Kuni and less Halo and Gears.

i'll still buy an xbox if there is no DRM or used games bullshit. but i doubt it. it'll be a shame though....all those cheevos....moving on to pathetic trophies...:(

Is it just me or does the new bioshock feel ham-fisted? Story's way too rushed, hero's overpowered. I still like it but its no bioshock 2.

I stand by my opinion. I don't like Elizabeth helping me with powerups constantly. And big daddys/sisters made for fun fights.

are you playing on hard? i think the difficulty feels just about right... not too tough to where i constantly lose all my money from dying, but tough enough that i need to pay attention and be ready to wreck shit at a moment's notice
