His youngest daughter on the show, is amazing. I foresee great things in her future as an actor (or musician)

yeah not a lot of breathing room for funny, unless his daughter hiding in the closet was supposed to be a big payoff. that stupid girl having an O in the coffee shop was pretty lol.

My favorite.
yeah.

imdb:
Ursula Parker
Trivia:
She is a prodigious violinist; played Carnegie Hall at age 8.
I nearly forgot but the funniest part of that episode were Louie's two gay neighbors from a season ago being too busy fighting to help him...

Not likely. Besides, if Letterman was actually retiring, chances are they'd consider moving Ferguson to his slot first. I just really wonder how much of that conversation with the CBS exec was basically Louie confessing his worst fears through one of his characters. That was such a weird, eerie scene to me.

Plus him complaining he doesn't even have time to jack off before the meeting was hilarious.

Great episode. I agree about the CBS exec expressing Louie's fears, however I highly doubt he still harbors those fears. Successful show, self distributed specials etc. Louie's made it. Glad he didn't go the schmooze shitbreath route of gay leno.

Has there been any explanation of his agent/manager?

Not in the show but yeah, his IRL agent is actually a pretty young guy so he thought it would be funny to exaggerate that a little in the show, I guess.

the black ex wife, young agent, etc are very subtle Easter eggs for the serious viewer to look out for

I'm not really feeling this new season. There have been a few really good episodes, and the Late Night arc seems like it's going to deliver big-time, but there have been more than a few times where I've been left thinking "that's it?" The intentional non-payoffs (daughter in the closet, running away from his dad) just seem lazy.

I say this after almost every episode, but that may have been the best episode so far.
