So I only listened to these guys a couple of times, and it was years ago. I remember finding out about them in some way connected to Acid Mothers Temple, so I sort of associated them with those guys. But less heavy maybe. Are they closer to traditional krautrock (whatever that means), or more influenced by Tortoise, Slint, etc.hooked on sonics wrote:Circle
Well, maybe not better, but it has all definitely expanded. Genres like psytrance broke up into various other genres. There has seemed to be a huge emphasis on mixing genres also. Nothing seemed to be really that new about 2000s, only expansion. Even the electroclash sound was a resurrection from 80s/90s.captain wrote:Has it? Hey, I'm all for discovering some shit years down the road. I hope to.
