Am I just imagining things or if the AMOC actually collapses wouldn't that be like an extinction level event? I did a triple take when I saw that article. I really hope republicans are right and liberals are delusion beta pussies and climate change is a pinko commie conspiracy created by oil hating wimps who hate americas freedoms.

Well Geeheeb and Leon still haven't paid any of us a fucking dime, so what did you think was going to happen? That's the reality of markets.

Also I'm still waiting for one of you to help me stop climate change. All I need is a good idea.

If everyone in the world could hold their breath for at least one minute all at the same time that might work.

Couldn’t find a single good article on it but the global regulations on scrubbing sulfur from shipping vessel exhaust a.) resulted in elimination of seeded clouds, which had kept the ocean’s temperature artificially low, and b.) the scrubbing process means the ships just dump their sulfur pollutants directly into the ocean

One step forward, three steps back, catching our heel on the curb, falling backwards onto a fire hydrant which goes up our butt and inflates us with water until we’re launched into the air

12:33 Mayones talks about using left over pieces of wood and electronics to make into goofy piccolo basses that only Eight Foot Man Child would waste $2000 on. Still a cool idea. I keep thinking of that video of Gibson running over hundred of guitars with an excavator. Rosewood takes 100 years to grow.

That's how it's done here in India and Sri Lanka (I'm currently in Sri Lanka). But even with all that, India especially is like living in one big garbage can with some lit incense sticks thrown in there.
