With Braun presumably off the juice and Pujols in the AL, can anything stop Matt Kemp from winning the triple crown?

Jesus, I turned off the Yankee/LAA game in the middle of the third, watched Gosford Park start to finish, turned it back on and it's the top of the Fucking Ninth!!?

McCourt out, 9-1, Kemp mashing, triple play....feels good man. Hope they can keep this rolling. I can't believe some of you guys just realized the history of Dodger Stadium.

It's not so much realizing the history of Dodger stadium as realizing that only two older stadiums have survived.

so bets on a Red Sox 4th place finish and a pre or post all star game firing of Bobby V?

I just don't see it with their rotation and they seem to be lacking any leadership

It's hard to see how Bobby V. can have legitimacy as a manager when he's righteously subverted by a 5'4" bald guy.

it really just seems like this Bobby V thing is already going to go down as one of the biggest busts in baseball

I think most people could see that from miles away. I don't know what's making the Red Sox make such poor decisions but I highly endorse it.

"I don't think he's as physically or emotionally into the game as he has been in the past for some reason," Valentine told WHDH Sunday during an interview. Which triggered this response Monday from Youkilis: "I go out every day and play as hard as I can -- take every ground ball in the morning, take every at-bat like it's my last. I don't think my game has changed at all. ... That's just not how I go about the game of baseball." Dustin Pedroia has come to his friend and teammate's defense, telling the media Monday, "I really don't know what Bobby is trying to do but that's not the way we go about our stuff around here."
and now Bobby V has apologized what a fucking train wreck :fp:

Yeah, it started on the Athletics Nation blog last year. Moscoso was Moose Costco, as well.

I really hope Ryan Braun has a herpes flair-up again so he can start taking "medicine" for it again.

As much as I hate the Sox, I almost want to feel bad for them this season for the aborted fetuses they throw out on the field.

Then I remember:

Schadenfreude.

However, I feel bad for Ellsbury. Awesome talent and plays the game right. Shitty injury.

A team that is based in Boston... used the phrase "Cowboy Up" as a motto at one point... fuck them forever.
