Was Brock actually poisoned with the ricin? I remember something about the poison being from a plant and then an episode ending showing that plant in Walt's garden.

the ricin went missing around the time that Brock got poisoned. Jesse confronted Walt and almost shot him because of it, but Walt talked him down and that's how he got Jesse back on his side against Gus.

Walt later planted the ricin in Jesse's Roomba, so that they'd "find it" together, and Jesse would think he misplaced it like a moron, even though Jesse had already checked the Roomba before Walt came over. This time, Jesse realized that Saul had Huell pick his pocket again, which made him realize he was right all along about Walt stealing the Ricin to manipulate him.

That is clear, and BTW, what Walt planted was not the ricin, it was a fake, he took salt or sugar from the kitchen. But what I am confused is that I remember Jesse saying the doctors told him something about a plant and that they were positive it was not ricin. So why Walt went through all the trouble of getting the ricin back from Jesse then planting it again if he poisened Brock with something else?
