Streven Adler wrote:no, i think you share the same feelings with the majority of viewers. there are no likable characters, except maybe walter. the story is fun and somewhat engrossing though, so it's a good watch. big love is even worse imo. i hate everyone on that fucking show, but i still watch it, for some stupid reason.
Hank is probably the only likable guy on Breaking Bad, although Jesse is surprisingly not annoying this season (yet). Walt's address to the kids at the high school was the highlight of the episode, although the Mexican Cousins (they're being referred to as simply 'The Cousins' in all of the reviews I've read) crawling to the little death shack or whatever the fuck that was at the beginning was pretty awesome.

Just watched the first ep. Meh, I hope they finish off the marital problems angle soon because I don't know if I can watch another season of that garbage.

yeah, first episode of the new season was rather meh. and those two mexican killer boys already annoy me. there was just too much forced coolness in that last scene.

Agreed. The first ep so so so but the second one made up for it. Jesse's an :moreawesome: dick. More Bob Odenkirk please.

I read that they rigged up some elaborate device to ensure that the pizza would end up on the roof, but they decided to try one take without the rig, and Bryan Cranston got the pizza on the roof in the first take. Well done!

I just finished Season 2. This is probably one the best shows ever. Pretty much everything is perfect.

What do you guys think of the relationship between Walt and his new lab partner? At first I had the impression that Gus created the situation so that Walt would unknowingly be "training" his replacement, but since the twins have redirected their focus away from Walt, I no longer think that's the case.

Also, you KNOW that Walt and Jesse are going to be teaming up again this season, judging solely from the promo advertisements from earlier this year (They were both wearing yellow Hazmat suits, like the ones Walt + New Guy were wearing in the latest episode). Maybe the new guy gets killed, or has a change of heart?

I think the new lab partner may be.....

a homosexual
Also, this was the best episode of the season.

Agreed. A couple of the first episodes were good but now I hope it really picks up. The latest episode was great. Does Gus know Walt has cancer? I'm pretty sure he does so I doubt he'd off him. Dude is a stone cold badass laying down his territory and his say to the Mexi-twins.

That would partially explain the new lab guy then.

Right. I was thinking of Gus letting the twins at Walt after Walt finishes his 3 months of meth cooking or whatever. Totally jumbling thoughts. I chuckled at Badger's Riverdance. I kind of like Jesse's knucklehead wigger friends.

is Gus the Pollos-guy? if so, he does know, he discussed Walt's chances of surviving the next few years with the private detective (kind of) guy in the car.
edit: AND he saw Walt's picture when he visited the DEA-office.

Yeah, Gus definitely knows that Walt has cancer. "May his death bring you happiness" was a GREAT fucking ending line of the show.

I have a feeling this Gus character is even more connected than we think. In any event, I'm sure there isn't ANY detail that he doesn't know and/or couldn't find out if he wanted to.

Gus must have some serious people behind him, or at least some leverage or unseen power at his disposal. Why else would the twins have listened to him?

Gus should have Walt start cooking 'Double Down' sandwiches for the Los Pollos Hermanos if he wants to make that REAL cash
