The original MSX Metal Gear 2 music is fucking killer, the codec scene music is badass and is something that has inspired something I'm writing, of course the faggot that made this video probably doesn't even notice how cool that music is but it changes each time you flick through the text.

another inspiration to me, are there any noise/drone artists that do stuff like this? I mean, no fucking musical elements at all, just unsettling robotic drones, I'd like to know

I enjoy the sheer awfulness of this and always have, why the fuck do they not make more side scrollers with ink n pen animation?

this game kicks tons of ass, really underrated

Spot-on, but those fagmos are deliberately, openly trying to sound like a videogame. Maybe that's nothing to be mad about? I'm still scarred by this bullshit:

RIP game discs that would work in your CD player

I did that with the Alien trilogy music...

Good on ya mate, by far the best video game music ever. All of the original Ninja Gaiden music is amazing but this one indeed rules them all.

2nd place:

The music from Shadowgate is outstanding. Good man!

I nearly beat that game, recently. Hard as fuck, and annoying to play by today's standards. I'd like to own a copy of it someday.
