That is exactly how I feel about AMT. There is no good reason why I wouldn't love them, but it always seems to just fall a little short.
Move along Paulo's boss. Nothing to see here.

People hate this album, really? It was always my favorite because it's a little bit more on the metal side for them.zzzzzzzz wrote:
this album reminds me of playing 4 player Goldeneye on Nintendo 64
Here's the kicker: I like "Miasma" and "Shadows Are Security" better than thoseThe Schwartz wrote:

Oh, no. As I Lay Dying continues to release horrible album after horrible album and BDM's records are getting more tired with each release. AILD front man is the one to blame for that horrid Austrian Death Machine parroty band. The Schwartz wrote:can't say I've heard anything else by either of those bands, I don't know maybe that's all they have released anyways
That's most people's complaint with that album, however, I really think it makes the albums atmosphere... they're just "in your face", aggressive and over the top in places.noah thirteen wrote:I honestly hate the vocals so much..... they're shite...... I think Earache should reissue a version with the vocals removed......Assplay!!! wrote:Who hates Clandestine?
I kind of like that record. You should post all of that horrible power thrash that you have on vinyl.Honky Kong 64 wrote:

Yeah, I'm the same way. Haven't cared about them since this album.guardianoftheblind wrote:\m/ unhallowed \m/

They're both bands where it's kind of like all or nothing. You really really like it, or you really really don't. And most people don't at all, even the ones who go see the shows when they both tour.noah thirteen wrote:Haha, I've consistently been let down by every AMT record I have ever bought, and most Circle except for that ambient 2xCD they released which I thought was fucking RAD.hooked on sonics wrote:also the entire discographies of Circle and Acid Mothers Temple.
It's cool you found a Circle that fits your tastes, at least. I think that one is really rad too, especially the very last song.
I seem to remember that you have the Ratto Ja Lehtisalo / Reverend bizzare split right? What do you think of the Ratto side? That band is basically circle without the guitar player and that song in particular is one of their best tunes.
But yeah, I even made a thread about AMT a long time ago saying they had all the elements of a band I'd really like in theory and then I would buy their records and be so let down, but be convinced I was missing a crucial album that would turn my opinion around. Then I realized that was never going to happen. I do really like the Hot Rattlesnakes CD by the guru/leader dude, however. That's a great album.
