So basically you don't have an opinion? :awesome:

Edit: and you can't pick Maddie and Laura at the same time, dammit.
It's all about young hot stud Billy Zane. If he and Sherilyn had a little kid, that sexy little thing would get pedo'd up before he'd turn 3.

How is 'Fire Walk With Me'? I've heard some incredibly mixed things about it. Some people love it, others say it's horrible and taints the legacy. Does it have a similar flavor to the show?

Definitely don't watch that until after you watch the show.

It's good, but I think Laura's character, while I like the actress, was way overdone.

I'm kind of worried that the flashes of her darkness you glimpsed into the show are going to be more intriguing than a fleshed out character, due to leaving things up to the viewer's imagination.

It's terrible that you guys left out Norma...I guess it's just because she doesn't have nearly as much smut going on.

sherilyn fenn A#1 party zone forever

and anyone who says that the show didn't have some absolute shit for plotlines and totally betray their "standing above soap operas looking down" motif to simply become a soap opera (i'm looking at you, james) is a fucking mongoloid

The positives far outweigh the negatives as far as I'm concerned. The occasional stupid plotline/character didn't disrupt the flow enough to the point where it significantly affected the quality of the show for me. There's just far too much about it to praise.

my least favourite plot line was James & the married woman - total waste of time & further reinforced y desire to feed him into a wood chipper every time he was on screen

Can't believe the lack of Joan Chen love - she was a total honey (although maybe even hotter in Taipan)

Shelley still looks damn fine & was in Californication for a while

The whole show is streaming on Netflix, FYI. Just re-watched the pilot last night. My wife's intrigued by it now too. It's hard not telling her what's going to happen because she asks a lot of questions, but god damn, what a great show.

Just re-watched the "It Is Happening Again" episode. Jesus Christ. I still can't believe that last scene got on TV. From the moment we see the Palmer house, with Sara Palmer crawling down the stairs, that episode is just perfection after that. Cooper at the Roadhouse, the Giant, BOB and Maddie dancing, just incredible. Even stupid Bobby looking all sad at the Roadhouse completely works. Sure, the show goes sort of downhill from here, but it was nice to watch the peak (pardon the pun) of the show once again.

Twenty years ago, ABC pulled the plug on one of the most brilliant TV series of all time, leaving behind a tangled web of dangling plot threads and unanswered questions. Now, eight of New York’s most Twin Peaks-obsessed improvisers will take matters into their own hands, picking up exactly where the series left off and continuing until this groundbreaking phenomenon has received the resolution it deserves.

that would be cool if people I knew were doing it at a cabin on a weekend retreat or something... actually... tickets are only $5 - granted, I've never seen any improv, but I just can't be mad at this
