but I DO like bartolo colon. watching him bat was like going to the circus. also juan lagares is fucking amazing, guys. national media probably hasn't caught onto him yet, but he is ridiculous. he's even hitting a bit this year...if he can develop any sort of offensive game, he'll be a monster

Jesus! I'm not much of a baseball fan at all but living in New York; Rivera is just one of those things you're accustomed to hearing about or seeing on the back of the newspapers. It suddenly strikes me as odd that the Yankees don't have him.

truly a bizarre game. his k's have been pretty quick, and he hasn't allowed many hits. he's looked like an ace and like a man who is completely lost for parts of this game.

also curtis granderson looks so pathetic...I really hope he just started the season cold, and this isn't bay part 2. because that's really the way it feels right now. (or carlos baerga part 5, or roberto alomar part 4, etc.)

d'arnaud's bat seems to be coming around, and I like chris young, but there doesn't seem to be a reliable offensive contributor in this lineup outside of wright. duda is a tree. even murphy's been better defensively than with the bat this season, which is fucked up. he's made a ton of crazy plays already, and not hit at all. bizarro.

the mets are INSISTING that syndergaard just has a mild strain of the flexor pronator. until I hear about MRI results, I'm assuming that TJ is right down the road.

I'm terrified. at least rafael montero was lights out the other day- I'm pretty psyched about him. looked pretty shaky in his first two starts, but those 10 Ks are really inspiring confidence. kluberesque.
