Well damn, surprised at how well this buddy cop movie holds up; ghostbusters-tight editing and packing, no more exposition than you need but no less either, car chase scenes are awesome (and look like a classic car show), 1988 gun politics on full display (you dont need MORE bullets, you need BIGGER bullets!).
Funniest moment is nervous James Caan turning down an alien handjob saying "Um... there's lots of things I haven't done; that's not real high on my list. No... you know... don't take it personally. I'm a bigot."

prey is acutally good, bill! i know its not saying much but its the best in the franchise since the original by miles
I heard enough to know it’s not for me. Any film or show that has a 90 pound little girl beating up full grown men is automatically boycotted. Never mind a fucking Predator. I’m not a cuck nor enjoy dominatrix fetish stuff. I find it stupid and obnoxious and removes me completely from the media like spotting a boom mike.
Fantastic Planet - Some French animated film I’ve always saw the DVD case for but never watched till now. There’s similarities to Scavenger’s Reign, but it ended up reminding of Yellow Submarine and Monty Python’s animation. It was… interesting, but incredibly sloppy. 6/10.
Barbarian - 8.5/10
real butthole clenching tense up until the end. Love how it subverted my expectations all the time. Really looking forward to this guy's next film - apparently he's part of the Whitest Kids You Know-crew. Has any of you seen The Civil War on Drugs? The plot sounds interesting, but the minute or so I watched was as uninteresting as everything else I'd seen by WKYK.

My COCK: A-doodle-doo fun time play whistle. Potential chocking hazard for babies and pets.

I trust you also refuse to watch the LOTR movies because you heard there's hobbits defeating orcs in sword fights?

Also, I watched the first Saw on DVD, I think before any of the sequels were out, and I clearly remember my reaction was basically, I think this was a pretty stupid movie, but I have to watch it again. And so I watched it again and concluded, yep, pretty stupid, and I haven't seen any of them since.

Orcs are retards. I’ll allow a female midget to kill them. Also, I don’t count swords or guns or superpowers in my disdain, only fisticuffs and grappling.
Frodo's physical helplessness is a huge part of LOTR's story. He's capable of bearing the ring but not because he is a giant war blork who's taller than everyone. He's just a simple hedgehog guy.
Does PREY involve physically beating up predators? In the og movie, Arnold is no match for the more powerful being and the conflict is basically a battle of wits iirc. I would be amazed if the native girl didn't set traps and show off her cunning stunts???

I understand women want to be the guy too, not just take facials and lay around all day making pancakes, and that's fine by me so long as it doesn't come at the expense of ethics in games journalism
