KRB inspired me to get a pizza stone and it's been a lot of fun. I still can't figure out the cornmeal thing so I just put oil onto foil and do it that way. way too false/impatient to make my own dough, and am currently seeking pro-tips on stretching the ball into a huge circle without using a rolling pin (which smooshes all the air out and leaves it flat, right?). maybe I should just step it up and frisbee that pizza pieeeeeeee

As far as dough goes practice makes perfect. Quickest trick to no holes is not actually stretching it but holding it and letting it fall by its own weight. Also don't be afraid to put raw flour on the pizza peel...wait...you DO have a pizza peel...right...?

If you don't have a pizza peel but have the fucking stone

peel confirmed, but I still can't transfer it for shit. metal and dough are both sticky as a motherfucker!

I used the stone for a while before we got the peel, though - the rapid heat transfer is a HUGE benefit even if the pizza is sitting on a piece of foil (which is easy to move around without a peel)

It gets chewy on foil though. You need dat crunch

And yeah don't be afraid of raw flour all over the place for no stick. Fuck corn mealstarchwhateverthefuckpapajohnsuses.

Mexican pizza - pineapple chipotle salsa, carnitas (pork, home made), feta cheese (not Mex but fuck it), red bell pepper, onion, fresh jalapenos on half (shared with dad and he hates hot stuff, so...), sharp cheddar. SLH was that good!
