The story thus far....

Transformers: War for Cybertron is beaten. Pretty good game, indeed. Yet, that nagging feeling that it's license helped make the game way better persists. Would I have liked this game as much had it been the Go-Bots?

Advanced one level further into The Punisher. I still like it, but I'm just not feeling it after the disk went missing. This will be a slow play through. Nickel and dime-ing it's content every time I play some games.

Crysis, oh Crysis! What is this crap you're making me play? It's suppose to be a zero gravity chamber, but feels more like underwater. The bad guys are really annoying too, look a bit like the fish princess from the water temple in Ocarina of Time. Worst of all, I'm stuck since the whole place looks the same and I'm not sure how to progress. I'll probably watch a walk-through off YouTube later at work. For a game that once was supposed to be the PC's holy grail of graphics, this level is really vapid.

Played some 007: Golden Eye (2011). It's alright. At times it has the Early 2K PC FPS vibe to it, which is good after all. Other times, it feels like just another COD type of a game, which is not so good. Let's be honest, unless you're a die hard fan of the N64 title and demand that the title cannot not be changed what so ever, this reboot is the better version of the two... if you want a proper single player experience.

Skyrim. Playing through the Thieves Guild. Or, at least I was, until the entire city of Markarth decided to try and kill me and I ran for it. I think I accidentally stole something off a table which resulted in all hell broke loose. My vampire girl was fighting them off, but I bolted out of the city, only to be crushed by a game freezing bug. BOOOO!!!! Next time I play I really hope the bug doesn't happen or else I may be done with the game until some time in the far future where I'll replay from scratch. That or some really awe inspiring DLC comes out.

Mega Man is known as Rock Man in Japan. This was changed in America because 'rock' is well-known slang for crack cocaine.

Those games are also on the iPhone. I was thinking about going that route if I wanted to play, but I'm back cataloged on games even on the iPhone now.

The first one is probably one of my top 5 favorite games of all time.

It actually blended humor into a game in a way that wasn't forced or annoyingly unfunny which is usually the case in video games.

I found the humour pretty painfully unfunny but the game itself was just horribly repetitive and not a lot of fun in the first place. Not really much of an fps guy in the first place though so

Borderlands is going to be a whole big to do when I finally get around to playing it, right? Like an action/RPG? Zelda... or Diablo with guns, huh? That's why I've been putting it off. Skyrim is still holding my epic, put a million hours into it gaming attention.

:lhug: Tried it again recently and meh. The guns feel and sound like water pistols. I'm sure it's good fun in co-op.

YO

...the core mechanics of the Adventure Time game are drawn from a handful of classic 8 and 16-bit titles. The overall structure is built similarly to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and Castlevania II: Simon's Quest. Action exists in two distinct sections -- first is an overworld that spreads across The Land of Ooo. From an overhead perspective, you're free to roam around a map that's peppered with towns, caves, forests, and enemies.
