Why is it so hard to make a decent single player campaign for BF4 or COD:G? Ghosts wins, if only by a butthair.

depends. i think this time around compared to 360/ps3 there's legitimate fodder for debate amongst the graphics whores based on the multiplat launch games. that's what a lot of the big debates i've seen are focused on

of course i probably can't even tell the difference between 720p and 1080p, so most of that is lost on me

half answer/half question: are either of those campaigns based on real-life scenarios the way the early COD games were? i still remember the battle of stalingrad in COD2 (or 1? not sure). that shit had GRAVITY. made me wish i was russian. AFAIK the stories are all fictional now, and honestly they seem pretty fucking dumb.

Both are set in the near future. BF3's campaign was pretty fun, but BF4's is boring, short, and rushed feeling. Ghosts' was fun, but shit is buggy as hell. Neither live up to the stories of the older entries.

i think the original modern warfare is still the best military shooter campaign

i redbox'd the new CoD to play the campaign, and i'm only a few missions in, but so far its not too impressive. just more of the same shit. and controlling your dog with a laptop? dumb.

I say get Assassin's Creed, but only if you're like me and hate the previous ones. Tell me if it still stinks or if it's finally good. And if it is good, then BAM!!! you have a proper full on single player game to play. Thanks to the Superior The Bill.

Almost never online gaming but that's just because I haven't picked up an online game in forever. I played a ton of KZ2 online and had a blast. I'll probably online Diablo 3 a bunch eventually. Didn't really love the PVP in Dark Souls but mostly because I was terrible at it. According to the article I can go to Future Shop and trade a game in and then go to Best Buy and do the same thing. I just realized how long the lines are going to be though
