2) Any brands I need to stay away from?
1. Doubtful. These just came out two months ago or so and the lower prices were a surprise. Not sure about Europe but US stores frequently have a card bundled with one free game around this time. If you don't want the free game, you can sell the code easily for $20-30 online. If you're not in need of one right away, just wait until TW3 is closer to release and see if a price drop or bundle interests you.

2. MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte, EVGA are usually considered the best but some of the "cheaper" brand cards like Gainward and Zotac aren't too shabby either. I prefer MSI or Gigabyte because I've bought cards from both and had no problems at all. These cards are long so make sure you'll have enough room.

Turning one year older means I now also have the XBOX One. I'm actually sort of embarrassed. Halo looks lovely, though. It came with two Ass Creed games. Anything else worth a look... exclusive wise? Titanfall can fuck off.

I have only ever bought EVGA branded cards. They're usually the best reviewed, and I have had zero issues with them.

Definitely get a 970. If you are only running at 1080, that thing will last you years. You will be able to run games at framerates that consoles will never see.

I'm serious. I tell people IRL to fuck off with their confails, and price them PC parts.

I'm a nice guy until you tell me about your PS4/Xbone. I suddenly become fucking Hitler and tell people not be so jewish about their choice of gaming platform.

I'm Jewish myself which makes this so difficult.

Framerate is the #1 reason why I got a PC. One of the students at my school showed me Crysis 2 running at 60 fps, and I was done for. I get that this is difficult to understand if you're used to playing everything at 30 fps - it was for me too. But it doesn't just look better, it also affects how games handle, at least for fast action games. I have a GTX 580 at the moment, and it'll actually run most games at max settings, but I'll always bump it down to the second highest settings if I can't get at least a reasonably stable 60 fps.

We are at a time now where less than 60pfs is completely unacceptable for anything.

12 more hours.....12 more long grueling hours. Post your characters after you make them. I am going for a 2H Human Warrior first.

I barely played DA2 so I'm not sure what they let you do, but I loved how in depth D&D style each class got in Origins. I wanna know how far you can go.
go to r/dragonage

If you want magic and melee, go for Knight Enchanter. The dragon age wiki should have all the skill trees.

I played DA2 as a rogue and it was solid. they had the fastest moveset by far, which I'm sure will be the same in DA:I. and I love using bows and the bow combat looks fun in the new one, but I've never been a mage in a DA game and I'm feeling that ole magic itch. god, so many decisions in these games right at the start. can't decide if I'm going to be male or female, human or qunari, mage or rogue... fuuuuccck. I know I'm going to spend like half an hour staring at the screen trying to decide...

I'm playing GTA V first. Dragon is too huge a game not to need a good patching first.

Did you check out http://www.dragonagekeep.com yet, Pisscubes? It was a good refresher for the events of both games.

Hub worlds but massive, massive hub worlds. Supposedly all of Origins and DAII can fit in this game with room to spare. It's huge.

My favorite site loves the game, too. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2014/11 ... quisition/
