I really have no idea who you dudes are constantly talking about. This is a game reviewer, yes/no?

It always takes me aback when I play Doom and I see the credits. Carmack, Hall.... fucking McGee... it's like the 1927 New York Yankees of video games.

I thought his reviews as they were were fine and he was totally ok on the podcast.
yeah i dunno. it's best for all involved now i guess. he can do whatever he wants, people can stop bitching about him ruining giantbomb, etc

For a bunch of guys who say they don't care about games journalists, you guys can sure hold a conversation about games journalists.

Klepek had sorta grown on me lately. seems like a pretty big loss for the site regardless of my opinion.

Dan and Jason are both great recent additions, but I hope they get another big presence soon. that Danny guy from Gamespot seems cool enough... can't really think of other possible people.

Advanced Warfare is actually kind of shockingly good I think? It's probably the most fun I've had with CoD since the first couple of weeks of MW2, before it just turned into camp/exploit city.

Are you talking about the multiplayer only? How is the single player?

Did I tell anyone that Brutal DOOM rules the world?

haven't even touched the SP yet, and yes, Brutal DOOM is basically one of the greatest things anyone could possibly play. The best part is that it works with Doom 1, 2, and Ultimate DOOM so you have a disgusting amount of content to play

Yeah I'm a little blown away too honestly by some of these games

Totally forgot about how much I used to love these Forgotten Realms games

Also playing through a couple hands of Strip Poker and really feeling for what lower-case g Riles had to go through just to look at some dirty pictures

Although if xvideos had existed in my youth.. Fuck.

theres a game im trying to think of the name of
SPOILERSPOILER_SHOW
it was set in a future sci fi cyber punk type deal, you're a cookie cutter detective guy. the gameplay was basically point and click on lightly animated static frames. street corners, night club, apartment etc. your character isn't anywhere to be seen though. i think it had dragon in the title?

playing wasteland 2

it isn't without its flaws, and I actually think that it looks worse than the first two fallout games (though the camera control is a nice trade-off), but I'm having a fucking blast

Plat'd Murdered: Soul Suspect last night on PS4. Took roughly 9 hours. Not nearly as terrible as people make it out to be. I thought it was an enjoyable detective/adventure/stealth game, even if it was a bit too easy. I picked it up on sale a few weeks back for $11 - I'd say it's worth a rent or a purchase/trade-in if you can find it that cheap.

downloaded first light for free and i surprisingly really like it. none of the other infamous games ever did anything for me, but i think i know why i like this one. first, the traversal is really good. hold O to travel across the city and up over buildings at lightning speed and it doesn't drain any energy meter? and B, i get burnt out on collectathons and shit like that, so the size of this game is perfect for me. got all of the red light orbs, graffiti spots, and police drones in about an hour

story and voice acting are still garbage, but its a fun distraction

Did you not play second son? It was pretty decent. Plat'd that last week.

I really liked Second Son, and Fetch was my favorite character... (and I'd do her). I wished there was more of her and less of Delsin's brother and that nerd, so I'm looking forward to trying out First Light.
