I mean...besides shows. I haven't bought one in years but I wanted to grab a few...older bands, mostly. Good reliable places to get these now?

The band themselves is always the #1 option for me. There isn't a whole lot of bands that I get shirts of that have them sold outside of themselves or their own label.

i realy cant recommend eatdeath. i got a Nortt shirt from them that was so crappily made that i like refuse to wear it. like, it has like white splotches on it where they drew the logo. its also suposed to be the albumcover art of 1 of theitr albums but its unrecognizable. its just poorly made. mayb theyre improved since then idk?

No the desire remains, it's the grown up issues like rent/mortgage, insurance, taxes etc... that get in the way.

I'm well into my 30's and have no problem paying my mortgage or insurace or taxes while looking awesome in a totally killer metal shirt.

That's awesome Bobby. I still support bands at shows, but the reality for me and most older people is not just the things I mentioned. If i'm home online (and sober) it's rare I will buy something band related (other than cd's/lp's) because there is always something my daughter needs. I have no issue with old dudes wearing band shirts, in fact if you are a contributing member of society I applaud it.

no I was saying it in hope that you would read into it. Sooner or later it would be nice if you stopped being a drain on your friends. Next it will be the government taking care of your pathetic bruised ass instead of mooching off the one person who will tolerate you.

i recently got a Zombi shirt from shirtkiller.com. Don't care for a lot of the bands they make shirts of, but there's some good stuff, and it's all official.

Eat Death has some designs i really like (Suppression, Thergothon), but i've heard enough bad feedback to make me not want to bother.

When i'm at a show, i'd usually rather buy a record than a shirt. But if i have enough for both, and the shirts don't look stupid, i'm down. Bands usually make more off of the shirts anyways.

Your stance in this thread is pure bullshit. I mostly wear band shirts, and I don't get any handouts from anyone; I have a respectable, well-paying job that allows me to dress casually within reason (i.e. no br00tle shirt designs in front of the kiddies). I am far from the only person on this board to whom this applies.

By all means, rip on Amelia if it makes you feel better... I couldn't give two shits about that (and I'm pretty sure she cares what you think about her even less than I care what you think about her). But doing it in this thread, in this manner... you're just making yourself look like a bitter old asshole.

yeah don't do eatdeath honestly, unless you like, air dry all of your t-shirts (they shrink and the paint gets all fucked up in the dryer)

I don't buy all that many, but when I do it's usually one of those package deals (CD + shirt + maybe something else) at The End or wherever.
