Not snowed in but it is nasty outside. My whole drive-way is now ice so I can't get out (I got bread, milk, and beer). Thank God I decided to use a sick day today (cough cough)

Got about 5 inches last night/early this morning. It's just about stopped snowing now, but Weatherman Man says the worst is yet to come. I ain't going anywhere today...

Having a totally wimpy, near snow free winter. Had to shovel a few cm off the driveway three times so far. Going to be hovering around zero and partly cloudy for the rest of the week.

Yep, so now I'm staying in NYC with my folks until Friday. I doubt my flight will leave from Dulles tomorrow, so I got the airline to rebook me from LaGuardia on Friday with absolutely no extra money. Totally stoked.

I've only been more than half a block from my house once since Friday. Totally snowed in. DC is paralyzed. I'm not sure when this craziness will return to normal.

I have not heard about an outright ban. The news has been saying if you don't have to go out then please stay off the roads but they say that for a dusting.

So the final tally was around 9 inches yesterday... the really heavy stuff never materialized.

No pics, because why waste good pixels on a mere 9 incher? Maybe next week, because there are rumblings in meteorological circles that a third major snow dump will hit the east coast Monday/Tuesday. I hope not, but the kid in me would love to see a 2+ foot bloomp of snowfall...
