Generating a notable buzz with their now out of print “Stones/Salts” 7” and their visceral live performance, Castevet are a unique act that combine a lethal mix of progressive/post hardcore with the musical tendencies of such acts as VOIVOD, VED BUENS ENDE, and on occasion, DEATHSPELL OMEGA and CONVERGE. They sound like that band Altar of Plagues. Something about that Profound Lore label pisses me off, but I can't put my finger on it.
