I've seen this one but can't remember much of it.

I think I liked Gleaming The Cube better, even though Josh Brolin << Christian Slater.

I have no intention of seeing this but i wonder what it is like. I'm snowed in at work for a while and killing time. John Matuszak was kewl. from 1981:

The best scene in Thrashin is when the main Dagger corrects his sister on just how stylin his Indian look was

Thrashin' rules! Bought it for $3 new at Big Lots. You ever seen the 1993 rollerblading movie Airborne? It's almost exactly the same movie except for skateboarding. Oh, and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are in it.

I just remembered that Sherilyn Fenn was in Thrashin'. Funny, I was just talking to my friend that co-starred in The Wraith with her only minutes before I opened this thread.

Two movies I can add to my huge list of shit to review. Just posted one on Angel III, a real bad late 80s movie

Thrashin' rules. It's the awesomest portrayal of skater bum ambition with some Karate Kid rival angle and jousting thrown in. The soundtrack had Fear, Circle Jerks and RHCP laying live before the guitarist died and they went soft.

I thought that the girl on the cover of Caveman was Jenny Agutter at first

If I remember correctly Christian Hosoi was one of the villains in Thrashin', that alone makes it worth it...

GTC was funny in parts (Natas Kaupas cameo), but...way too much "plot", if you know what I mean.

Since we're on a similar subject I gotta ask, am I the only one who thought Rad was kinda lame? Hell, BMX Bandits was better than that shit.

in the bathroom at the bar down the street someone tagged "ramp locals" which was scratched out (you could tell it was at a later time) and "daggers" was written above it. i assure you i had nothing to do with this particular tagging.

Truth. It's a good day when I can randomly quote that movie and someone else will know what I'm talking about. This needs a DVD release ASAP.

I think I started watching Thrashin' on TV once thinking it might be about 80's metal... I was wrong.

Caveman is fucking funny... it finds itself residing firmly on the sillier side of comedy, but it's still fucking funny. :awesome:
